8th Grade Camp: This camp is only for incoming freshman. The camp will be an introduction to the drills and skills that players can expect to see in the high school summer training program. This camp, like all camps, will continue to establish the development of the technical skills of volleyball. This camp will also introduce players to the defensive, serve receive, and offensive concepts that we teach at the high school level. The goal of this camp is to prepare player to blend into the training with our returning high school players a seamlessly as possible.
2nd - 5th Grade Camp: This camp will stress the fundamental skills and techniques of volleyball skills. We want to give young players the chance to increase their athleticism, establish volleyball skills and correct techniques, and develop the love of the sport. This camp will benefit players who will be touching the ball the first time all the way to the player who has a couple of years of club volleyball experience. The players will be grouped to enable them to get the most development possible in the 4 day period.
5th - 7th Grade Camp: This camp is designed to continue the development of the skills and technique of volleyball. The pace of the training will be geared toward players who have had at least a year of play in either club or school volleyball programs. Initially players will be divided by age, but as the first day of camp progresses, the will be moved at the camp coaches’ discretion to courts according to their current skill level. We will review the basics of each skill at a rate appropriate with the skill level of the court, and will expand on the basic skills into some more advanced techniques of each skill. This camp will touch on both the skills and concepts involved in play volleyball at a higher level of play.
